·         Each student at the Centre has a personalised timetable, receives expert tuition in his/her chosen instrument and plays in a coached ensemble of his or her choice. Current groups in CYM include:

·         Piano Duets (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced),

·         Piano & Violin Duo,

·         Piano, Clarinet & Violin Trio,

·         Piano, Cello & Clarinet Trio advanced,

·         Baroque Ensemble,

·         Junior & Senior Jazz Improvisation,

·         Advanced String Group,

·         Flute Trio,

·         Guitar Duet,

·         Guitar & Recorder Duo,

·         Saxophone Trio,

·         small Brass Ensemble,

·         Oboe & Bassoon Duo,

·         Vocal Duets, Trios and Quartets,

·         Percussion Ensemble (starting Sep2009).

 

·         Students also receive weekly tuition in theory, aural and musician ship skills and every student has the opportunity to sing in the Senior or Junior Chamber Choir depending on their age.
